The lovely and beautiful Jane
Asher in Roger Corman’s “The Masque of the Red Death”, with Vincent Price
and Hazel Court, and also David Weston and Nigel Green (Part 2/…)

If
this film was made today she would have had LOTS of production and
publicity photos wearing all the beautiful dresses and hairdos…

Screen captures by Vandonovan, from http://community.livejournal.com/janeasher/

(I still want to put more pictures from the first scene) (I’ll have to take my own screencaps ) (Oh, dear, then I will have THOUSANDS!)

September 1966 – Jane Asher as Perdita in ‘The Winter’s Tale’.

Jane portrayed Perdita in Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale at the Edinburgh Festival in August 1966 and followed that with a critically acclaimed run in London’s West End at the Cambridge Theatre starting on Sept. 30, 1966. During November 1966 The Winter’s Tale was filmed for the cinema – but it was never theatrically released. In 1968 it was finally released by Warner Bros. and screened in private venues such as college campus theaters.
