I don’t think there’s been a sci-fi character that I’ve been rooting for more. Life has dealt her blow after blow (she’s been the vessel for much evil as well), yet she comes out as a courageous and loveable woman. We/I need more Defiance.

Eek! She remembered my name! My face went all red… It was a great concert, one of those moments where you expect something to be beautiful and then it is even more so. Thank you! Her mother was in the audience too and I’m sure she was very proud. This cd was written on a road trip in the US and between the songs she explained all about it. And she played Poetry Man, one of her oldies, which is still a very beautiful song. At the end she did away with all amplification and it was just her voice, guitar and the acoustics of the hall; that like the rest of the evening was magical. (bij Muziekgebouw Frits Philips)
